Spielberg returns to alien contact — Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, and Colin Firth in the first major studio film to engage directly with the real-world UAP disclosure movement. In theaters June 12, 2026.

Jordan Peele’s most ambitious film reimagines the UFO as predator — a film about attention, exploitation, and what it costs to witness something that does not want to be witnessed.

Shot on $700,000, Andrew Patterson’s debut is one of the most atmospheric UAP films of the modern era — set in 1950s New Mexico, trusting the audience to sit with ambiguity.

Spielberg’s companion piece to Close Encounters — a film about empathy across an unbridgeable divide, and the instinct of government to classify and contain rather than understand.

Robert Wise’s Cold War masterpiece: an alien emissary arrives with a warning for humanity — and is immediately shot. More urgent today than in 1951.

James Cameron’s most underrated film imagines non-human intelligence emerging from Earth’s own oceans — and asks whether our fear is the greatest obstacle to contact.

The most intellectually sophisticated UAP film ever made. Villeneuve’s Arrival imagines first contact not as a military confrontation but as a linguistics problem.

Based on Carl Sagan’s novel, Contact remains the most scientifically grounded and philosophically serious UAP-adjacent film ever produced by Hollywood.

The foundational text of modern UFO cinema. Spielberg’s masterpiece follows an ordinary man whose life is upended by a UAP sighting — a psychological portrait that resonates with real experiencer testimony.
